Preparation for the Future “Holy Trinity gave me the tools I needed to succeed socially, spiritually, and academically in a competitive high school. I can confidently attempt new things with this strong foundation. I don't know where I’d be without my Holy Trinity family."
-- Brianna Tucciarone, Class of 2012
"Holy Trinity has been our family’s second home for 22 straight years! Our five children have been blessed with strong academics and standards of excellence while being able to live their faith every day. The foundations set at HTS allowed our children to attend and excel at Mount St Mary’s and St Joseph’s high schools and to thrive at universities and careers. Our youngest continues to be fully engaged with a safe in-school experience during these difficult days. Thank you to the best administration and teachers we could have asked for our children, and lifelong friends."
--Alexis Sosinski, parent
Our youngest son entered the first grade at Holy Trinity in September of 2020 after attending kindergarten at a public school in a nearby town. We enrolled our son at Holy Trinity for two primary reasons: 1) Holy Trinity was able to safely conduct in-person learning five days a week, as compared to a mostly virtual learning model that was being planned in our town for the current school year. We felt that in-person learning was crucial in the development of our six-year old son’s academic and social development; and 2) as someone who attended only Catholic institutions for the entirety of my education up to, and including, college, I am a stout proponent of a Catholic education. Let there be no doubt - enrolling our youngest son, and eventually his older siblings, at Holy Trinity is the single best decision that my wife and I have made regarding our children.
We have been truly impressed with Holy Trinity since the first day of school. Our son was new to the Holy Trinity, and he was welcomed with open arms by the students and faculty, which greatly facilitated the transition to a new school. Initially, we were just happy that our son was attending school in-person and had the ability to socialize with children his own age while learning. However, we quickly realized that Holy Trinity was going to provide our son with an experience far greater than that. We quickly began to see a considerable amount of written work brought home on a daily basis, and, in turn, vast improvements our son’s handwriting, spelling, and overall writing skills. Our son quickly began to thrive at Holy Trinity and develop a greater sense of confidence, which is vital in the development of a child. He has voluntarily participated in an afterschool science program, which he thoroughly enjoyed. His academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development has increased exponentially since arriving at Holy Trinity due in large part to their ability safely conduct in-person learning to execute an appropriately rigorous curriculum that focuses upon skill development and pencil-to-paper work in a caring environment steeped in Catholic tradition.
Given our son’s overwhelmingly positive experience, we began to consider whether we should transfer our two older children (ages 12 and 10) into Holy Trinity, as they had been virtually attending the public schools in our town at the start of the 2020-21 school year. When it was announced that our public schools would continue virtual learning well into the winter, Dr. Ellis permitted the transfer our two older children into Holy Trinity in early December, and they’ve had an academic awakening similar to that of their younger sibling. They have been challenged academically, have risen to that challenge and are well on the way to developing their skills as they head into the very crucial middle school years.
Let this testimonial not only serve as one family’s insights regarding their experiences at Holy Trinity but also as a thank you to Dr. Ellis and her faculty team for providing our children with an extraordinary educational experience during these challenging times. We feel extremely blessed and grateful every day to be a part of the Holy Trinity family.
